47: 100 Days of Happiness

Interview day!! I think it went okay. Probably haven't got the job, but I wasn't really struggling to answer any of the questions (although one threw me but I recovered!). I also made them laugh a few times, so that's always nice.

I travelled there with James and we then met up with Alex for lunch. Ended up eating our Boots meal deals on a bench in the town centre then headed into Costa where we met Alex's friend who is the general manager there. He's petrified of sock puppets! Slightly bizarre phobia!! His friends recently played a joke on him and got one of his favourite comedians to bring out a sock puppet while they were at his show! Been really nice catching up with Alex, I also got to have a tiffin!!

Also had the unbelievable news that Kirsty's baby arrived today. Arya was a week early and ended up with an unplanned home birth attended by an ambulance and a midwife! The hospital Kirsty was supposed to give birth in was a 50 minute drive away & had told Kirsty to wait at least an hour. She was out food shopping with her mum, decided to drop the groceries off at home before driving to hospital and 30 minutes later the baby had arrived!

This makes 3 friends who have all had amazingly quick labours of less than 1.5 hours now. Sod's law means that if I get pregnant my labour will be 38 hours to balance it all out!!
