Among the quince blossom

In line with my stated aim of capturing fleeting moments in the day I caught this bee buzzing around the quince blossom which has suddenly burst forth during yesterday's high temperatures. Last year I was able to make a few pounds of jelly from this one well-pruned bush that is tucked away in a shady corner between garage and front steps. Looks as if I'll be able to repeat this if the bees continue to do their work and the weather holds over the summer.
