Yap there was a frost this morning and The Boss spent some time looking for his woolly hat before venturing out with me this morning. After tearing the house and garage apart he downloaded the “Find my hat” App for his fruitphone and there it was…In the garage…In Suzz…In the back bit but NOT where I sit so it was NOT ME that “lost” it.
Dogs don’t lose stuff like humans do. BUT we don’t need a “Find my hat” App as we have this built in thingie…A grrreat sniffer. The Boss read a couple of years ago about a Border Collie that lived in Switzerland that could find several hundred items by just looking at a photo of the item. I think he held the world record but you would expect that of a BC. They are smart…Antisocial but smart as I can recall being snarled at by the odd BC and maybe even ones too.
Anyway he found his woolly hat but it took so long that it had warmed up enough to just have his ordinary one. The Boss is big on hats and every keen photographer will kno that a hat rim over a camera makes a little dark room to see through the viewfinder better especially if you are shooting into the light. This image was shot into the light at Wanaka Station Park but it was from his studio window and a hat was not required. He did at least open the window tho.
