Good luck Dan

Oh my goodness.
What a night of high drama.

AFC Fylde have beaten Worksop Town 3-1 I'm their playoff semi final tonight.

I'm still taking it all in.

It was end to end stuff and not one for those of a nervous disposition.

Worksop took the lead and Fylde equalised almost immediately.

1-1 at half time.

In the second half we were forced to defend well but got two more goals to make the scoreline look more comfortable than it was.

Massive credit and respect to Worksop, who played very well. Their fans were magnificent all evening.

In the other semi final FC United of Manchester suffered playoff heartache again as they went out 2-1 after extra time. After leading they conceded very late in normal time and then in extra time.

So we have a home game on Saturday.

Which brings me to today's blip subject, Dan.

Dan is our groundsman. He does a brilliant job and his work has been recognised as he is shortlisted for groundsman of the year in our league.
