A lovely coffee morning and catch up with a friend, followed by a quick lunch and then the food shop!

Visited Dad who was in a very good mood! They've said he can go home tomorrow as long as the manageress from the care home comes to assess him to say they think he's fit to return. A huge weight off my shoulders now, he won't be alone in a strange hospital with some very sick people. They are trying to recover and he's in there just moaning! Turns out it was some kind of stomach polyp (beginning with T but I can't remember what it's called) that had burst. Could've been ruptured from all that coughing with his chest infection. They've tested him for a chest infection and it's all clear now, but he's still full of phlegm. But he'll just be happy to be back in his room and hopefully he'll forget all this. Fingers crossed.
