Big game

Big game for GFC tonight. We played Leatherhead in the first of the play offs in the hope to make Saturday's final.

We watched the game live on GFC TV at the Doghouse along with lots of other fans,

We took a while to get into the game but played really well for the majority of the first half, despite conceding 2 goals.

Thought we would quickly sort it out in the second half but we conceded a third goal and things weren't looking good, especially when Ross Allen went off injured.

We didn't lose the faith though and with about 7 mins to go we started scoring goals- 2. Then 3, and I was celebrating madly with most others until we realised that it was offside. With 4 mins of added injury time we still believed but unfortunately it just wasn't enough and we will just have to look forward to a second season in this league to work to the top again and next time be promoted.
