View from above

Today Edinburgh gave the opportunity for an almost unlimited array of great pictures, as when the sun shines the city is magnificently beautiful.

That said, I was unfortunately cooped up inside AGAIN today due to the upcoming exams. I did manage to get out for a short run, but didn't take my camera with me as I knew I'd keep stopping to take a photo.

So instead, I'm uploading this picture, that I took from our bathroom window while cleaning my teeth this morning!
One of the joys of living on the Royal Mile, is that there's always people passing below and interesting things happening. For example, two days ago we had the Bupa Great Run and a group of choir singers singing beautifully just across the street. Yesterday there was a Yes Campaign thingy going on and today, with it being such a lovely sunny day, there was a continuous stream of tourists and Edinburghers strolling up and down. It provided for some interesting people-watching while cleaning my teeth. What my "entertainment" has come to, *sigh*.
