Future leaders to yellow wagtails via tube strike

Action packed day today, left home at 6.30 am to ensure I arrived at my "Future Leaders" Day in Central London in spite of tube strike, arrived at 6.50 for a 9.15 start!
Inspirational day on leadership with Gordon Hewitt and Marshall Goldsmith famous for "What Got You Here Won't Get You There: How successful people become even more successful". I especially loved Marshall's Bhuddism influence and completely integrated approach to living life in the moment and being a successful leader.
Decided to get my much loved TAG watch, in need of a battery for 3 years, fixed at Selfridges, happy days, welcome back old friend! Marble Arch tube said trains were running to Ealing, by the time I got to the platform they weren't, arragghh. Walked to marylebone, train to Gerrards Cross, Darren picked me up and made my day by taking me to see a pair of yellow wagtails and their nest of 3 babies on the site he is demolishing. Needless to say, that bit will not be demolished till the babies have flown!
Ooh and two baby sparrows being fed on the shed roof this morning...life in a day!
