Tulip detail

Not very inspired for photos recently so it's a good job the garden is full of flowers.
When I got home after 5pm the sun was still shining so I took the paper (and camera) into the garden to sit in the sun.
This tulip was right beside me in a pot and gave good practice with different exposures. It is one I managed to save from last year that Mr Rat bought in Amsterdam, several are in bud. I don't think they'll still be flowering in July this year, though.
Spent ages this evening trying to make things in a document stay where I wanted them to!
