Cloud Inversion on the Tay

Had to go in to Dundee today to return some clothes I'd ordered before I went in to hospital and which were falling off me by the time I came out!! Lovely bright day most of the way there, but noticed this layer of low cloud over the Tay as we drove nearer the coast. There was quite a chill in the wind too, especially out of the sun, so think it's a warning of the colder weather to come this week.

That didn't stop the hardy Dundonians dressing as if for mid-summer, with a motley array of shorts, T-shirts, skimpy dresses and lots of bare flesh everywhere. I on the other hand was frozen stiff in the light jacket I'd put on:-) I blame too much time indoors!
