my friend Peta

a lovely day today. Pottered around in the garden this morning then caught the train to Huddersfield. Love that journey, chatted to the ticket collector. Got to Huddersfield and met my friend Peta, it has been three months since we saw each other so lots to catch up on. We decided to stay on the station and eat in the Head of Steam.

I love being surround by railway memorabillia and the food is good as well !!
We spent a good two hours over lunch and catching up. Took her photo and then we caught our trains Peta to York and me to Penistone. Back home had a visitor called so more tea and biscuits.........

washed up and quick hoover before my Tuesday Poets turned up. Really good and creative evening. We talked about the Literary Festival we are having in Penistone in July and who was reading what in our poetry slot. It will be the first literary festival we have had in Penistone am really looking forward to it.

A light supper now.
