Great day in the hills. Set off from Troutbeck Church, up Garburn Pass, then Yoke, Ill Bell, Froswick, Thornthwaite Beacon (in the photo) and High Street. Then back the same way (almost). 14 miles and 3730 feet of ascent. Feeling tired but proud. It's a long time since I walked that far. And all the problems of yesterday disappeared
I've been waited on by my husband since I got back. Mug of tea, another, scampi and chips, glass of wine, and he's even washed the dishes :)
All that's left to do tonight is post this and have a bath.
