Ecce Romani

When I was at school I studied Latin. The text books were called Ecce Romani. Today’s blip is from BB’s school. He is in a brand new school building, but there are a few bits which have been incorporated from the old school and this Latin inscription is one of them. I don’t imagine the children know what it says, and I wonder if the teachers do. I did a Google translation on it!

It was such a lovely day and I sat in the office gazing out at the bright blue sky. Popped out at lunchtime, but ended up spending most of my time in the St James Centre – such a waste of a sunny lunchtime.

It is still a lovely evening and the air is full of the pungent smell scent(?) of oilseed rape and the first apple blossom is making an appearance.
