Just the two of us

Angus is away in London so it was just the two of us today. I expected the worst (teething) but it wasn't to be. Audrey was on top form. A proper little cutie. My favourite mood.

We headed up to Hale to see my friend Lisa's beautiful newborn, Sienna this morning. Audrey wasn't even jealous when I held her (which made me oh so broody!) My friend Lisa is in that wonderful newborn babymoon blissful state. All is calm, her little lady is sleeping on her and it was so lovely to see her as a Mum.

We had a leisurely stroll to the park and then stopped for lunch in a deli. Hale is gorgeous, a gentrified and glossy Chorlton. I get pangs to live there sometimes and sunny days like today don't help!

Had to put Audrey down late for her nap but she was good as gold, waking at 4pm for a cuddle and a selfie shot in bed (see pic). Then we ran errands on Beech Road with Audrey carrying the milk and bread and holding my hand.

I'm head over heels in love with my little lady tonight, can you tell???
