Intimately perceiving the-10,000-things (Tao)

There a number of others, one is which sounds very curious: 'recipe for regeneration: take one careless tallow chandler and two ingenious Bastards'. I was curious about this and popped the entire aphorism into Google and learned that in 1731 a great fire in Blandford Forum destroyed 90% of the town when a 'soap boyler's apprentice made too great a fire under a furnace of boyling soap'. The two Bastards were architects John and William Bastard who oversaw the rebuilding of the town.
