Bluebells or whitebells?

Walking to the library for my book group today, I came upon these pretty white bluebells.

They are growing in what used to be the garden and orchard of a beautiful old house that sadly is no more. Like a lot of the town's older and historic buildings, it was pulled down in the 1960s in the name of progress. In today's enlightened era where our heritage is more valued, I'm sure every effort would have been made to conserve these buildings.
