A bean disaster

Some of you may remember that a few weeks ago Anna brought a growing project home for the holidays, including a diary with instructions to write in the diary every day. It started positively - "I'm really looking forward to seeing what it looks like!" and "It's so exciting waiting for it to grow." It went downhill - "I'm bored of waiting." and "I can't believe it STILL hasn't grown!" Tears followed when she realised that everyone would have a lovely bean plant and she wouldn't.

So mummy resorted to her tried and tested method of How to Grow A Bean for Dummies. Never had a failure in many years of doing this topic with small children. Success followed and today Anna proudly took her beans in to show her teacher.
