Adieu Alien

Chris and I took Alyn for a farewell lunch today

I've worked with him for nearly 25 years and tomorrow he retires

The title - well the first time he typed his name in MS Word it suggested Alien as the correct spelling

so ever since that's what we used - Bill Gates couldn't be wrong!

I will always remember Alyn as he would want to be remembered

His attitude to Christmas - Bah Humbug! (Tinsel on his desk was great fun)

The word that described him...curmudgeonly

Our non-work discussions on gruesome ways to die and contagious diseases

And his support within the team

Oh boy will I miss him!!
