back-blip

A relaxing day today. We had a big breakfast of bread, cheese, meats, croissants and jam and then headed out on a walk through the fields. It was a good couple of miles we did. I did some sewing when we got back and we played cards and did some colouring with Amelie. We Laura cooked a delicious roast for dinner and we had a chocolate cake I had baked for pudding. I filled it with creme fraiche (we couldn't work out what normal cream was in French, I can never find it!) and topped it with strawberries and blueberries. Champagne and hot tub again in the evening, naturally! Would be rude not to really.
