Well I Never

Well here we have a church clock( at St Peters Gaulby) with only one hand and it's not broken it was made like that.
The hand points to the hour and then when it moves between the hours the position is what time it is quarter past,half past,quarter to....
No minutes just the hour and the quarters
It was twelve o clock when I was there
Ingenious and less to become faulty....
