Silver Salish Sea

This isn’t what I planned for today (I was going to decide between a morning landscape and a monomonday challenge, but it's a bit late for that…) but I couldn’t resist this few minutes of silver light on the Salish Sea taken from the deck. The sun was still rather high (almost 8PM!) but a big cloud was enveloping the West, the water was calm and all was still. Magical.

We expected to pick up a guy on Galiano coming on the ferry from Victoria to service our water treatment system today but he didn’t show up - another “island time” situation. Sigh…. Lots of work to do anyway, and I even managed to upload and send off 2 photo books. And light the sauna……
