Dying flower

It has been sometime since this flower has closed overnight and opened again the next day. There is still pollen on the stamens, but outside in the lithops natural habitat, I suspect that wind and pollinators would have removed nearly all of it by now.

This is the stone plant Lithops aucampiae var. aucampiae, and I have photographed the bud and flowers in their prime previously.
