Downtown

Another busy day exploring!
Set off early to go down to 14th St. Had a visit to a day spa and enjoyed pedicure, manicure and massage all of which were brilliant. Then headed to Mary's Fish Camp in West Greenwich Village for fantastic oysters and fish tacos ...and I sat right next to Willem Dafoe (although of course I didn't realise it til after we left the place!). He had a fried fish sourdough sandwich and salad by the way!
Then we wandered around Union Square and Washington Square parks and mooched around some rather gorgeous shops before heading to Haarlam for dinner at Red Rooster. Didn't recognise a thing on the menu (cow peas, collard greens, yard bird) but it was delicious. I had crab salad and jerk pork chop with fingerlings (sausages, it turned out!). Home earlier than last night...but another great day.
Off to the conference tomorrow so back to work...
