A day off, it's sunny and Ruth came to visit. I was slightly ambitious with my weather appropriate clothing choice - met Ruth and she was the opposite with her big coat etc. We both slightly regretted our choices.

We went round town, had coffee and cake in Ginger Two (bumped into D) and then went and sat in the castle ruins for a while and bathed in the sun. We walked back via the ice-cream van, I had my first proper ice cream. Ruth had a geek out at Jane Austin's house and in the Cathedral by her grave memorial thing. Then we went to the Royal Oak and had mini dinner and drinks before Ruth went home. Lavley.
