a different day a different lake

Was awake early this morning to bright sunshine and a couple of messages about a school stabbing in Leeds. (I taught for many years in Leeds)
Anyway I shot out of bed and looked outside to se the beautiful light on the snowy mountains. So quickly shoved some clothes on and drove down the road to get some better shots.

This is lake Middleton - which is a tiny pond on the other side of the road to Lake Ohau - likes the light on this panorama
