a gift

one of our neighbors is a retired nursery/florist person. She asked us a couple years ago to till part of our backyard and split the produce. Since I am not good with yard work or gardening, we were happy to share our little piece of dirt. She is amazing at growing things beautiful and yummy!

We haven't seen her much this year. I think she has needed to spend a lot of time caring for her ill husband and elderly mother. But she surprised us by dropping off this lovely arrangement on our front porch! the spirit of Christmas shines thru so many people. Seeing this makes my heart smile.
