War?

Tomorrow the weather promises to be be sunny!!! So I may be enticed into the garden, mostly to deal with the poor old Dandelions. So I thought I should show some appreciation for their lovely colour and form..and the squiggly bits in the middle, before I wage war against them tomorrow. Sorry Dandies!
An Indian friend of ours has a lovely accent and pronounces dandelion in a wonderful way, which is often what we call them now...he says..dan-dell-ee-on, I wonder why they are called dandy-lions anyway? hmm.
