Jo Nesbo, reigning king of Scandinavian crime fiction, delighted a large audience at the Spa Theatre, bringing the Books on the Beach literature festival to a close. From the Spa, in mist which clung to the upper part of the castle headland, the south bay looked fabulously mysterious, the perfect setting for a Nesbo thriller.
