Freelensing

I bought a Photo Technique magazine at the weekend. I haven't seen this mag for years and was impressed with the the adult content. Now don't get excited, it's not THAT sort of "adult content" I'm talking about. It's just that the content seems to be written by adults for adults. I get so depressed reading all the usual tat that purports to be editorial content in most photo mags, this was like a breath of fresh air. Anyway, one of the articles was about "freelensing" which is essentially removing the lens from the camera and holding it just in front of the mount then attempting to get focus on a subject. I tried it tonight and it works ... sort of. This it the first try at freelensing and I don't think it will be my last. So nice to try something new.
