Fairness Lies Fallen

My husband calls it the popcorn tree, the ornamental cherry I planted on our front drive, because one day the blossom pops out everywhere, and then quite quickly, it falls like confetti all over the drive. Wish I could think of a use for it, and wish all my neighbours would plant one, so we'd have an avenue of them.

Made black beans, rice, and farofa (fried manioc flour) for dinner - matando saudades (lit. killing the longings).

And then dancing - thankfully, going over old steps, and only one new bit - was beginning to feel we couldn't keep up.
