The big day!

Well the day dawned and the Kiltwalk was on. An early start saw us at the Glasgow Hydro at 8am for registration. We set off just after 9.30am.

I never took many photos as the object was to complete this walk and I needed to focus on that. I did take this one, I don't know who these ladies are but thought they illustrated the fun essence of the event.

We completed in under 8 hours, including breaks and were please with that. The weather was perfect for walking and 5 of us from our team stayed together for the whole 23 miles and kept each other going. The fact that I am blipping this today shows how much energy I had left by the time we got home.
