Bacon Whirls

Yes - I WAS cooking (or at least preparing) this evening, unlike my previous attempt.

Making my favourite bacon whirls...puff pastry, with philadelphia cheese and bacon all rolled up.

Then sliced thinly and stuck in the oven.

Made a batch for Inverness, but kept a few back into the freezer for the hogmanay doo.

Day spent running errands, finished delivering the christmas cards...and finally worked out why the car was sliding everywhere. There was NO tread on the front tyres. Women! Just as well she hasn't been stopped by the police recently ;) or there could have been points for that.

So stopped past KwikFit for new tyres before driving up to Inverness.
