Christmas Surprise

This is weird. I was doing Christmas shopping and feeling painfully hot in my winter coat. I had made several decisions about immaterial gifts. For example I had decided to take my godson, his parents and little brother to visit Söderskär lighthouse next summer. Now the boys are old enough for that.

I was wondering what kind of gift certificate I would find and how Santa Claus and lighthouses do not show up in the same post cards very often. Suddenly I found myself buying coloured paper sheets and soon after that sitting at home with sketchbook and scissors. Here is the result three hours later, not very professional but I'm proud of it anyway. I am still a bit astounded by my inspiration, since I can't remember when was the last time. Which year? Was I still a teenager then? What happened now? Whatever it was, it feels good.
