Blipmeet

I had a lazy start to the day, but after a quick text exchange with the delightfully bonkers Chrissiebutter, a blipmeet was arranged and I rushed to get dressed. We met outside the BBC at Media City and then headed to the Lowry for a cuppa and a good old chat. The wonderful thing about the blip community is that you chat online with people each night and so when you eventually meet you feel like old friends.

We then headed out into the sunshine and took took plenty of pics. As we are both Team Canon we could try a bit of lens swapping. It was really warm, perfect weather for mooching around with a camera whilst chatting nineteen to the dozen.

The BBC Philharmonic were practising so we took a few shots of them, we blipped the Tardis, we went in the Blue Peter Garden and wandered around the Quays...it was all great fun. Thanks for a day of laughs, Chrissie.

9:30pm...I've just got home from the writing group at the Marriott. Alan Titchmarsh was sitting across the way from me, I smiled over at him...then looked down and realised my top was on inside out...and has been all day!!!! So on the warmest day of the year so far: a day of no coats, a day I sat in the Lowry cafe, a day I walked all round the Quays, a day I went into a busy Booth's supermarket, a day I ate in Pizza Express and a day I sat all girly and smiled at Alan and his gorgeous looking friend ...I was wearing my clothes inside out...aaaargh!!!!
