Bluebells
Some of the bluebells opening in the Drumbrae wooded area, although some look very white. Sheltering under a beech tree just beginning to open it's leaves.
I never know which are the English bluebells (wild hyacinths) and which are the Spanish, but I know the ones in the garden spread quickly, so I think, unfortunately they are the Spanish ones, the leaves seem thicker too than these ones growing in our local woodland.
I know the Scottish bluebell - harebell is much later in the season flowering around September, but don't see many of them now.
