Soccer Match!

Spence and Joti were in school and daycare today so I worked and packed and tidied! After school the kids and I walked down to the park and had a play and kicked the soccer ball.

I took Spence to watch his first 'big' soccer match tonight. It was between the club plays for, caloundra, and the kawana Fire, who are in the league above. It's a knockout and the winner keeps advancing until they play the 'good teams' FA Cup style I think!

It was my first proper soccer match too and we loved it! The game was really close! At full time the score was even 2-2 so they had to play an extra 15 minutes each end. At the end if that it was still even, 3-3, so it went to a penalty shoot out!! It was so exciting!

The underdogs (Caloundra) ended up winning, getting 4-2 in the penalty shoot out! The crowd went wild! It was fantastic!!
