Jemima Puddle-duck

Merry first blip to me! Today, according to my mother, is for cleaning and cooking and general mayhem about the house. This isn't good for me since I still haven't bought everyone's presents... But it's Christmas Eve Eve and I can't wait for tomorrow!

It feels great to be home for the holidays, but also kind of strange - I'm missing campus and friends and freedom.

My family really likes using the phrase 'alighted rather heavily' in daily conversation. It's a fun one =)
