Well I thought that winter was not supposed to start until the middle of May.

This is at the top of the Lindis Pass on the road from Wanaka where I spent the night with Tussock's and his boss. It was raining today and so I had lunch at Twizel and then proceeded on to Lake Tekapo where I am staying in a camping ground (electric blanket works when plugged in) for the first time since leaving home in Christchurch about two months ago. Solar power is normally all I have !!!
