Custard

Mr Law has been an absolute star today. He's been to the shop for eggs and bread and ibuprofen cream, which he then rubbed upon my back. He's assisted with the making of the marzipan, and taste tested the brandy butter. He's cleaned out the fridge and popped up to the butcher for a cracking piece of beef, which he's currently roasting in the oven. He's also making proper custard for the trifle that he started earlier.

We're off into Birmingham tomorrow to see the Polar Express at the iMax. I think I'm the most excited one of us all, and then he's back off to work on Christmas Day.

He's a good man, and I'm very proud to be his wife - even when he drives me loopy... I'm sure I drive him more mad anyway!
