Eastbourne Pier
An afternoon trip to the south coast for me - one of the pleasures of blipping.
I made straight for the pleasure pier - you just can't beat a pier! Although not the famous Brighton pier, located a few miles along the coast, when taking this shot I had in mind the atmospheric images used on the covers of many of Peter James' Roy Grace detective novels - I hope I've emulated him adequately.
The 1000ft long, 134 year old, Eugenius Birch designed pier makes for the perfect picture. I think.
