Is this cheating?

I know the idea of blipfoto is to post one photo a day... Two tulips, a female Mallard duck and a female coot. I felt guilty about snapping the coot when she stood up and made aggressive postures because she was sitting on a very small chick. So I hurried on and left them in peace. Meanwhile mother coot chased away a herring gull.
