Hospital Ma

Mother looking suitably glamorous in her hospital gown... she went in for a minor op last week and had her heart go a bit wonky, so now she's hooked up to this grand machine on the Coronary ward awaiting more tests on Monday. As you can see, she's feeling better in herself... spent the visit playing games trying to get her readings to do funny things. Grandma didn't approve of me egging on "go on, go on, hold your breath! You can get your respiratory rate lower than that!", can't fathom why...

Happy things today include making duvets blink, laughs with the maternal unit, mad patients in the opposing bed (apparently I was only born last night...), celebratory chinese takeaway, useless kitchen implements in Lakeland, and beginnings of packing.
