Luncheoning in the marina

Friday morning was extremely exciting for me since we went diving. I hadn't been for 5 and a half years, and the wife had never done it before, so we did the discover scuba course which took us down to 6m and got us used to breathing underwater and drifting along the sea bed inspecting various fish and rocks. Hopefully this will lead to many years of underwater discoveries...

After this we were slightly confused with still having the whole day ahead of us after being forced to get up at 7.30 instead of our usual 10am wake up. So we went to the local marina where we sat in the sun and admired all the expensive yachts. Being related to "proper sailors" though we weren't taken in by the motorised triple decker boats; the only way to really travel in style is by wind power alone.

Back home in the afternoon for a barbecue by the pool.
