Monklands Canal - an evening's walk

This is the area around the Monkland canal. It was used from the late 1770s as a route for carrying coal to the many iron works in the area.

I've not walked here for a couple of years, and before I became a blipper.

I was pleased to see that the canal and surrounding woods have been well maintained with new paths; seats and signage installed.

I reckon I saw 15 potential blips, all of which will be captured over the coming summer months :)
