Celandines

Ranunculus ficaria. No work today so Harry the dog and I were back down the lane. Yea!

The primroses, who have been the stars of the show for the past few weeks, are beginning to fade. The celandines were still shining brightly in the morning sun so I thought that I would capture them again before they too are past their best.

Plenty of cow parsley and red campion waiting in the wings. It is very tempting to photograph the first one that appears but I am trying to be patient - give them time to get into their stride!
