It's really happening

Today was set-up day for DandiFest! I can't begin to explain the wondrous transformation of St Margaret's that took place due to the sheer hard graft and inspiration and creativity of all involved.

In addition to the transformation of the interior the front garden is bedecked with banners, bunting, knitted bunnies and on the railings we have a mention of Iain Duncan Smith, created by my Dandy colleague Vince Laws. Tomorrow morning we take delivery of a portaloo that is accessible to disabled people and we are officially calling it the Iain Duncan Smith portaloo. I can't recall exactly why, probably because IDS is a shit.

Some of my Dandy friends are still down there, getting making sure everything is ready for when the doors open tomorrow at 10am for the first visitors.

And then there is the Launch Party tomorrow evening which we are all so excited about. I will be going there straight from work.

I took lots of photos today during set-up and can't wait to do more.

Oh, and my enlarged photos look pretty good. A bit unnerving, actually, if I'm honest.
