Bryn Arw to Brecon Beacons

We spent the morning going for a walk in the spring sunshine. There is a Marilyn north of Abergavenny called Bryn Arw, which is a short stroll for a couple of hours. Spring has definitely sprung and we heard two or three cuckoos on the slopes of the hill. We joke in our family that my wife never hears them while the rest of us can. It must be the frequency of the call that causes her problems. Anyway, we had a circular walk in the sun, looking and listening to the larks in the sky and admiring the views of the higher hills. The blip looks west to the higher hills of the Brecon Beacons, Pen-y-Fan and Corn Du beyond the Black Mountains.
