A much more leisurely start to the day.

MrRoly got Lily ready to go out for the morning with Emily. When he dropped her off, Tim mentioned a steam train coming through at 10.

We leapt into action and caught it going both ways. If steam engines are your thing, you can see it on yesterday's blip ;-)

The sun shone far more today. Philleagh rugby club resembled a quagmire and my AllyGrub was exhausted BUT the boy has walked 35 miles over 2 days!

Both Bella and Ally walked 23 miles yesterday on a route from Portreath to Philleagh on the Roseland Peninsula. The day was awful, gale force winds and very heavy showers. It rained all night Friday so the ground was already soaked and muddy.

Ally then walked a further 12 miles today on a route to Portscatho. It took them a total of 16 hours and 15 minutes.

Incredibly proud of them both but especially Ally.
