A morning spent at Ightham Mote, a 14th century moated manor house with great gardens for walking and playing in and an imaginatively laid out adventure playground. We even had some Elizabethan dancers come out to entertain us before lunch.

In the afternoon we watched a certain young Beaver take part in a St George’s Day Parade through the streets of Sevenoaks.
