Humble Bee

It’s quite cold out this afternoon, complete cloud cover when we left this afternoon with our trusted companions for a walk around a Forestry Commission wood close to where we live.

Song birds singing in the trees brightened up an otherwise drab background, although there were a few breaks in the cloud as the walk progressed.

In one of these brighter moments I was able to get a shot of this bee foraging quite successfully, judging by the load he is carrying in and around the bluebells.
